FAST PWG-II Pulse Wave Generator
Designed for use with the FAST Aqua M300, the PWG-II The PWG sends an acoustic pulse signal along the pipe, that can be specifically detected acoustically above ground by the M3000.
The PWG-II Pulse Generator connects to pipe networks to create a pressure wave that can acoustically be detected by the FAST Aqua M300 when used with a large ground microphone.
The wave expands and has a distance reach of up to 600 metres, in optimum conditions.
The Aqua M300 is equipped with a special pulse mode, where the volume and frequency of the pulse are optimally represented and can be determined seperate to other noise related detection signals.
This system is ideal for non-metallic water pipes, which can be detected precisely even to a depth of two metres without the need of shutting networks down.
This way, piping diagrams can quickly and safely be created, complemented and checked. This method can be used to compile, complete or check plans and pipe layouts or networks.
