The Disto D5 is an all purpose indoor/outdoor laser tape measure featuring Bluetooth Smart communication and free apps. This includes the Leica Disto Plan App which allows basic floor plans, measurements and sketches to be transferred through just a few clicks from the Disto. These sketches can be then exported by Bluetooth as a PDF or as a file suitable for CAD. There are also Disto approved 3rd party software options that allow expanded architectural functions.

The New Disto D5 features new technology which triggers measurements with gestures, as well as a new bright and clear 2.4” IPS display with scratch-proof lens that allows for touch accessibility. The D5 features a digital screen viewfinder with 4x zoom, making it extremely easy and fast to measure outdoors. When the red laser point cannot be seen, as is common with outdoors measuring, the "cross" reference in the centre of the digital viewfinder identifies where the end of your laser tape measure is! Simply point the D5 at the target you wish to measure to, and perform the measurement with confidence.

With a +/- 1mm measuring accuracy, it is capable of measuring distances up to 200 meters (using a reflective target) and angles up to 360 degrees. It is ideally suited to builders, construction, surveyors, civil engineers, painters, plasterers, architects, scaffolders, crane users, landscapers.

The Disto D5 comes standard with a 2 Year Manufacturer's warranty covering any defects in materials or workmanship. The warranty can be extended to 3 years if registered online with Leica Geosystems, within 8 weeks of purchase.
