The Spectra Precision GL622IR is a fully automatic, dial-in self leveling dual grade laser designed for high precision rail, roading, civil construction, drainage and earthmoving contractors.
It features a Class 1, 830nm wavelength infrared laser beam.
Class 1 lasers are used in projects such as rail construction and alignment, hospital construction works and in some mining applications, where standard Class 2 or Class 3 visible laser beams are not permitted.
The GL622IR shares it base design, performance and features with the GL622N precision dual grade, with features like automatic Grade Match, PlaneLok and Automatic Axis Alignment.

The remote and laser have a graphic display so contractors can do everything with the remote that they can do at the laser keypad. The GL622IR can provide precise automatic axis alignments to two desired points.

The GL622IR however does not offer automatic self leveling in the vertical setup. For precise vertical alignment and setout, refer to the GL622N.

The included HL760 receiver provides a digital readout of elevation and can be used at an operating diameter of up to 800 meters. For applications that require maximum stability and accuracy such as sloping concrete pads, PlaneLok automatically locks the beam on the receiver and keeps it on grade.
