The P550c Flexitrax is a modular tractor camera system designed for crawler and pan/tilt video recording of pipe networks between 150mm and 1.5 meters diameter.
The modern P550c controller, is designed around the user, helping them to create survey reports more easily and more efficiently. Intuitive menus and dedicated function buttons guide you through your survey, allowing you to move to the next job more quickly.
Even the buttons have been designed for use by operators wearing gloves.

The P550c controller offers an intuitive graphical user interface, a full size QWERTY keyboard (regional options available) and a choice of 6 different menu languages at launch, with on-board Operation Manuals to match. Context-sensitive, ATM-style buttons on both sides of the display provide access to the easy-to-use menus, while an additional 8 buttons offer direct control of the most-used functions such as Record and Set Cable Distance.

Boasting a 12.1”, 1280x800 pixel, high definition display for crisp, sharp images and 128Gb internal memory, the P550c features a built in rechargeable battery and rugged, IP55-rated case provide reliability and usability in most challenging environments.

The WaterNZ defect codes are included in the P550c's software.

3x Camera options
Choose from three interchangeable cameras for forward viewing, pan/tilt and pan/tilt and zoom applications. An additional powerful 8watt light head can be added to increase the luminosity in larger diameter pipes over 400mm diameter.

2x Tractor crawlers
The compact non-steerable P554 crawler is suitable for 100mm through to 305mm pipe diameters and can be fitted with pan/tilt camera operations, a fixed elevator and small or medium wheels.
The larger steerable P556 crawler is suitable for 150mm though to 1.5m diameter pipes (with optional XL cradle) and facilitates the use of the powered elevator and 8watt light head.

Portable Manual or Automatic Drums
Select from either a cost-effective and portable manual cable drum (with an external power supply) or an advanced powered drum (with in-built power supply) — each available with lengths up to 305m of cable.
A vehicle fix mounting kit is available for the automatic drum.

Pushrod cameras for lateral inspection
The Flexitrax P550c is also compatible with Pearpoint’s range of pushrod cameras, by simply adding a P541, 542 or 543 reel and camera set. All controleld by the same P550c controller.
