Radiodetection A-Frame
The A-Frame is used in conjuction with the RD7200 and RD8200 locator series for locating sheath faults on cables, and coating defects on pipelines.
The Radiodetection A-Frame is a specialised accessory used for precisely pinpointing underground sheath faults on cables and coating defects on pipelines.
It features a lightweight, rugged and weatherproof aluminum frame designed for stable ground contact in harsh environments.
It acts as a bridge between the operator and the ground, detecting voltage gradients caused by electrical leakage into the surrounding soil.
Key Features include;
Directional Guidance: The connected locator display provides on-screen arrows that point the operator toward the exact location of the fault.
Magnitude Monitoring: It measures and displays the severity (magnitude) of the fault in decibels (dB), allowing technicians to prioritize significant leaks.
The A-Frame can locate faults with a precision of up to 10cm (4"). Construction: Features a lightweight, rugged, and weatherproof aluminum frame designed for stable ground contact in harsh environments.
An optional bag is available for the A-Frame as shown in photos.
RD8200G locator shown in image is not included with the A-Frame.
