SBAS services are now operating in Australian and New Zealand after the successful testing of an SBAS testbed. The Southern Positioning Augmentation Network (SouthPAN) is a satellite-based augmentation system that provides positioning and navigation services for GPS users in Australia and New Zealand.

NZ NDTA Ultrasonic Training Course

Accurate were happy to accommodate the NZ Non Destructive Testing Association for their CBIP Approval of Training exams in late May. The Ultrasonic Training Course was undertaken in Accurate's Kotahi Training Room at 4 Avenger Crescent, Wigram, Christchurch, focusing on thickness and weld examinations.

In late 2020, Accurate was approached by key delegates from Hamilton City Council, to discuss introducing the new Radiodetection RD500 Plastic Water Pipe Locator technology into it's plant fleet. In December, our underground locating experts met on site to put the RD500 through the test.
