NEW PRODUCT ARRIVAL: Thermal Master P1, P2 and P3 advanced USB thermal imagers
The Thermal Master series of USB mobile thermal cameras offers lightweight, plug-and-play USB-C smartphone diagnostics featuring a fluid 25Hz frame rate and a temperature measuring range of -20°C to +600°C for residential, electrical, and HVAC inspections.
The entry-level Thermal Master P1 is a dual-compatible Android and iOS device that uses a native 160x120 detector upscaled via RazorX™ AI algorithms to a clearer 320x240 pixel resolution.
The extra compact Thermal Master P2, available as independant Android and iOS versions, targets mechanical and electrical diagnostics by boosting performance to a native 256x192 detector that upscales to a 512x384 Super IR resolution.
Combining the best attributes of both, the Thermal Master P3 retains the sharp 512x384 upscaled resolution while restoring universal native compatibility for both operating systems from a single device.
Crucially, the P3 stands out by introducing a physical manual focus system that provides precise optical clarity from extreme macro imaging down to 8mm up to long-distance building surveys.
The Temp Master software app serves as the core control hub for each of the P-series cameras, relying entirely on the processing power of your smartphone while maintaining an efficient power draw.
Available across both Android and iOS ecosystems, the application unlocks a comprehensive diagnostic toolkit that includes over a dozen dynamic color palettes (such as Iron and Rainbow) and picture-in-picture visibility blending to seamlessly overlay standard photos with thermal imaging data.
For high-precision analysis, the app allows users to drop custom measurement points, draw linear pathways, and map out regional bounding boxes directly on screen, all supported by automatic high/low temperature threshold alarms.
Crucially, the app acts as the engine for the hardware’s image optimisation, running the proprietary RazorX™ AI algorithms directly within the software interface to instantly double the clarity and upscale the live 25Hz feed into a sharp Super IR resolution image.
