The BM18 is designed as a simple low-cost economical moisture meter for quick determination of the moisture content of wood.

Compared with the BM12 basic model, the BM18 features a slightly larger rounded design, making it very functional to hold in the hand and use.
It also has the added functionality of LED light indicators for low (green) risk (orange) and wet (red) moisture values at a glance.
These LED indicators work well for those not well accustomed to what %moisture content refers to how much moisture.
